We have 3 options for finishes:
High gloss: 80-90% sheen
Satin: 30-45% sheen
Matt: 10-15% sheen

Chalk Paint: As a first step we chose chalk paint for its simple application and requires very little sanding beforehand. This ultra matte finish is suited to most kitchen designs with a clean and fresh color selection. It’s highly important to apply a protective top coat after application – unless you choose the spray-on Rust-Oleum chalked application which is completed with a paintbrush. 

Dulux Duramax and Ducospray paint: We like Dulux because of their vast range of spray paints, as well as the wide coverage they provide and the high end quality of the finish. This is one of our secret kitchen renovation tips.

Acrylic Paint: acrylic paint has come a long way and is great for a wide variety of uses such as laminate kitchen cupboards and doors. General application is done with a paintbrush and foam roller combo to ensure a perfect finish but this can also be achieved with special spray painting techniques
